Have a custom message
produced for as little as $195!
Hello!
My name is Eric Wylie. I own
OnHoldWebStore.com.
When I first started my
communications consulting
business,
Eric Wylie
Productions,
several years ago, my On Hold
Message production clients began
asking where they could find
reliable On-Hold playback
equipment to play my productions
on their phone systems. So, I
did the research for my clients,
and this site and the equipment
available is the result of those
requests, .
If
you're like me, you want to
grow your business. And
you know that growing your
business means attracting new
customers and making your
current customers happy, repeat
customers. Growing your business
also means advertising, which
can become costly --
particularly when dollars are
misspent.
I'd
like to tell you about
an often-overlooked competitive
advertising method that is inexpensive,
yet highly
effective.
I call it
"Information On Hold."
What is it?
An
Information On Hold message is a recorded
message businesses play into their phone systems that their callers hear
while on hold. Unfortunately,
some businesses believe that
plugging a radio or favorite CD
into their phone system is the
answer.
Businesses using a radio for
on-hold audio are doing
themselves a great disservice.
First, a business must have the
proper licenses to rebroadcast a
radio station's content out over
their phones. The local radio
station can't just "give their
permission" -- licenses must be
secured from the music licensing
agencies and this costs money.
Sometimes big money.
Additionally, businesses can be
fined by these licensing
agencies if they are caught
playing the radio
or an
unlicensed music CD into a phone
system.
Secondly, a radio station plays
lots of commercials -- even
public radio has underwriting
announcements. Persons placed on
hold may be listening to an
advertisement or announcement
featuring a competing business!
Advertise directly to your best prospects -
the people who are calling your business!
So
how is this offer different?
I'm
not talking about boring music
with someone repeatedly saying
"thank you for holding" or
simply playing some sleepy
music
into the phone. That type of
effort doesn't drive sales.
What I am proposing allows you
to create a customized audio
production specifically for your
business -- essentially creating
a very long radio commercial.
You are not limited to 30
or 60 seconds. These messages
are designed to explain to
current and potential customers
what YOUR business has to offer.
You can reinforce current ad
campaigns, promote new products,
up-sell slow moving items and
much more. (View
a list of suggested script
topics). The
scripts I create for my clients
include an occasional "thank
you" to the caller for their
patience while on hold. It's the
polite, respectful thing to do
when asking someone to wait.
Why do
you need an Information On Hold
Message?
Well, maybe you don't.
Maybe you have all of the
business you can handle and your
customer service approval
ratings are through the roof. If
that's the case,
congratulations! Head over to
the
Conde Nast
Traveler site and
start planning your next big
vacation getaway. If not, please
consider this...
Businesses
spend thousands of dollars in
advertising to get
potential customers to call
them, but very
little is spent on keeping those
callers on the line, engaged and
even asking questions. Research
shows that more than just music
on hold...
Custom
Information On Hold
keeps callers on the line better
than any other on-hold method.

The Production Process is simple:
1.
Use your existing marketing materials to write a script
or ask me to write a customized script with you.
2. Submit (or approve) the script.
3. I will record the script with a vocal
delivery that suits your business and mix the voice recording with music you choose from
my
music library. (I will make appropriate suggestions for you to choose
from). Other voices are available for hire, but this
greatly increases the cost of production.
4. Once you approve the
final production, you will receive
it in whatever
form you need -- an Audio CD to place directly into a digital on-hold player
like the OHWS 7000
or
OHWS
5000-D; or any
number of audio file types/formats that
your computer-based phone system may require or for placing onto the
OHWS 7000
or
OHWS 6000
digital players, or another playback media for your
existing player.
What if I told you that these
professional recordings are
available for less than $200?
How much does this cost?
I can
produce an Information On Hold
Message for your business for as
little as $195!
The
$195 Information On Hold Package requires that you
provide an
error-free script, ready to be recorded.
I will provide one royalty-free
music selection from my library,
my
experienced voice reading your
script, and the
digital audio recording and
editing studio and equipment required to create
the
production. At this amazing
rate, I must ask that the total
time of the produced message not
exceed three minutes. If you
have more to say, we can produce
longer messages for an
additional cost. Just give
me a call and we'll talk.
I
offer
script writing
services (and additional production time
for longer messages) at a
rate of $65 per
hour, billed in quarter hour
increments (one half-hour minimum).
I have written the scripts for
several of my customers, but
those companies with their own Marketing
staff typically send a script
that is ready for me to record.
If
you have any questions, please
don't hesitate to give me a call
toll-free at 1-877-808-0794 . Some
days I'm busy recording in the
studio and you may be asked to
leave a message, but I regularly
take breaks to return calls.
I
think you will agree that such
an effective and inexpensive
advertising method shouldn't be passed
by. I look forward to hearing
from you soon and beginning work
on YOUR Information On Hold
Message!
Thank you!
Eric Wylie
